Verification
Becoming a verified artist.
Whether you want to keep them private or share them with the world, those playlists deserve to look great and stand out in your Spotify app. The ability to update cover art and playlist descriptions used to be limited to featured partners, but now it’s available for all playlists — public or private. Apps are also updated to fix minor bugs and sometimes even more serious ones. Shortly after the long-awaited update to include playlist folders was announced in June 2011, the app was constantly crashing whenever users tried to access a folder, and songs were ending a second early.
Getting verified on Spotify lets your fans know that your artist profile belongs to you. When you get access to Spotify for Artists, you’re automatically verified on Spotify and your profile gets a blue verification check mark.

Your artist’s pick lives at the top of your profile for two weeks (or if you pick a tour, until the day after the last show) and you can change it anytime you want.

- Tap Add to Playlist.
- Select a playlist.
Edit a playlist
Tap (iOS) (Android) on the playlist, then Edit:
- Remove songs or podcast episodes with .
- To reorder songs or podcast episodes, tap, hold, and drag (Premium only).
Delete a playlist
- Tap (iOS) (Android) on the playlist.
- Tap Delete Playlist.

To remove a song:
- Right-click the song you want to remove.
- Select Remove from this Playlist.
